Head of Science
Lead our scientific strategy and execution across data, research, and innovation. You’ll be the key bridge between cutting-edge chemistry, AI systems, and real-world impact - shaping the direction of our models, datasets, and product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the quality, structure, and evolution of our scientific and chemical data
- Design and oversee scientific validation processes for AI-generated outputs
- Partner with AI and product teams to define research priorities and shape model design
- Translate complex scientific knowledge into scalable data pipelines and features
- Build and manage a high-calibre network of subject-matter experts and advisors
- Stay on top of the latest in chemical informatics and scientific AI applications
technical requirements
- Deep domain expertise in chemistry, cheminformatics, or a closely related field
- Hands-on experience working with scientific data (e.g. reaction data, patents, material science, lab automation)
- Strong grasp of structure–property relationships and chemical ontologies
- Experience collaborating with engineering and ML teams in fast-paced environments
- (Bonus) Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, or knowledge extraction in scientific domains
- (Bonus) Experience leading technical or scientific teams
