Join our team as a domain expert in specialty chemicals, helping bridge advanced chemical knowledge with AI systems and structured data. You’ll ensure our models reflect the nuance and complexity of real-world compounds, formulations, and industrial processes.
Responsibilities
Review and validate AI-generated data related to specialty chemicals, formulations, and applications
Provide deep input on structure–function relationships, use cases, and performance characteristics
Assist in curating, annotating, and structuring datasets for AI training and evaluation
Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to translate industry knowledge into scalable features
Contribute expertise on regulatory, safety, and performance aspects specific to specialty chemical domains
Stay current with advances in materials, additives, and formulation science relevant to our focus areas

Strong communicator able to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical teams

Technical requirements
Strong background in chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering - preferably with a PhD
Domain expertise in one or more specialty areas (e.g. coatings, surfactants, polymers, adhesives, agrochemicals)
Familiarity with interpreting product specs, MSDS, formulation data, and technical datasheets
Comfortable working with structured data and digital chemical representations (e.g. SMILES, InChI)
(Bonus) Experience in industrial R&D, formulation, or technical support roles
(Bonus) Exposure to cheminformatics tools (e.g. RDKit) or scientific data platforms
